]]> Wed Oct 18 2006 Autumn Collages http://2ndhassocksbrownies.fotopic.net/c1114189.html Today we started our Toy Maker badge. We had all remembered to bring our bags of leaves and twigs we had collected, which we spread on the floor and made the hut very messy! We made autumn collages on A3 paper and stuck our natural things down with glue and sticky tape. One of the Brownies found a baby snail amongst her things, and some of us even found woodlice in our bags! We made sure we put them back outside though! When we had finished we put our masterpieces in the back room to dry, and cleaned up the hut ready for the next activity. Sat in our sixes, we were all given a piece of paper and cardboard. We drew round the cardboard on to the paper, and then we were allowed to draw whatever we wanted in the box. Next week we will hopefully be finishing off colouring in our pictures, and then we will stick them to the cardboard. After that we can cut them into pieces to make a jigsaw to play with!
